ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports Audit Managers in delivering internal audit reviews according to the annual Internal Audit plan.
Participates in internal audit reviews, conducts interviews with management and performs testing, including documentation of results and completion of work papers in accordance with relevant internal and external standards.
Identifies risks associated with the processes under review.
Determines financial policies and procedures compliance.
Identifies internal control weaknesses and assists in preparation of audit observations and improvement recommendation for audit management review.
Reviews evidence of management action plan implementations.
Performs Sarbanes-Oxley 404 testing companywide.
Assists in preparation of tracking schedules and summary reports related to the internal audit and SOX deficiencies.
Participates in Internal Audit team meetings and performs other ad hoc departmental tasks as necessary.

Personality requirements and skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related area.
Pursuing relevant professional certification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA.
1 – 2 years of professional experience in internal or external audit, finance, accounting, risk, or other related area is required.
Exposure to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX 404) is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including interviewing skills and the ability to interact with senior management across countries and cultures.
Attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of work performed.
Ability to prioritise, multitask and meet reporting deadlines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under own initiative, and enthusiasm to drive through change.
PC proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
Prior SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle and/or Hyperion experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of data analytics tools would be an advantage as would a second language.
High level of confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information.
The position may involve some international travel.
