Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose of the role:
At this role you will be managing a team responsible for the accounting & reporting according to US GAAP and statutory reporting support for multiple countries.

Responsibilities:
• Full responsibility for US GAAP accounting for multiple legal entities including reporting and respective analysis, statutory closing & reporting
• Full responsibility for statutory reporting, statistical reporting etc for selected countries
• Leading a team of accountants, oversee quality of work and performance
• Effectively manage and develop team members, lead by example
• Coordination and oversight over annual external audit and key contact for internal and external auditors
• Ensure operational compliance with local and group policies and internal control framework
• Support tax manger in preparing tax provisions and transfer pricing reviews
• Work with outsourced tax advisors on tax and statutory filings
• Preparation of statistical reports and financial statements
• Transitioning of general ledger tasks to finance service center
• Perform other duties as assigned.

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (in a multi-national company preferred).
• Experience in leading team
• CPA or Chartered Accountant or ACCA certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills – effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and relevant local language(s).
• Attention to detail and a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and business partners.
• Ability to lead, influence and motivate others.
• Good time management skills
• Strong customer service focus, with a drive to ensure that we exceed the expectations of our customers.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations.
• Availability of travel if required, up to 5%
