Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose:

Lead for the IQVIA Commercial Services and Marketing Solutions (CSMS) Technical Offerings team to support their Salesforce systems and managed packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the existing admin and development teams to establish and maintain best practices in Salesforce administration and management
• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the SFDC platform based on industry best practices and business needs
• Design solutions using existing architecture
• Work with the solution architect to refine and enhance new architectures
• Support existing SMS, CRM and Virtual Meeting integrations
• Build new integrations necessary to satisfy customer requirements
• Provide APEX coding as needed
• Lead the CSMS Salesforce Capability Center to share knowledge and best practice
• Support development of CSMS Salesforce resources by participating in team discussions and sharing learnings
• Perform ongoing Salesforce Administration (create accounts / profiles, defining fields, updating layouts, reports, dashboards etc.)
• Support Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, automated approvals
• Participate in complex technical discussions with clients, clearly articulate options, benefits and recommendations
• Deliver support and solutions for break/fix issues
• Participate in SDLC refinement conversations for Salesforce groups

Required Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrated technical and dev team management experience
• 3 years of industry experience as a Salesforce Administrator
• 7 years solution delivery experience
• Salesforce ADMIN Certified
• 1 year of Health Cloud experience
• Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements
• 1 year of experience with Communities

Preferred Skills:

• 3 years technical and dev team management experience
• 5 years of industry experience as a Salesforce Administrator
• 10 years solution delivery experience
• Salesforce Advanced Admin and/or Develop and/or Architect and/or Consultant Certification
• Experience with design, dev and implementation of Lightning and Native Salesforce Mobile Apps
• Knowledge of and experience with the IQVIA OCE managed package
• Visualforce, Apps, Force.com APIs, and Web Services
• Experience working with the Pharmaceutical Industry or a Commercial Sales Organization
• Service Cloud experience
• Experience with Agile solution delivery
• Mobile app development
• UX/UI Design
