ROLE PURPOSE:
Under guidance, provides financial and transactional accounting analysis for month end, budget and forecast processes in addition to operational financial support to meet both corporate and operational requirements.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Provides financial analysis for Commercial Services business supporting month end, budget and forecast processes. Performs monthly analysis of results to provide insight to management and finance leadership. Supports commercial owner in investment appraisal/monitoring by developing appropriations and maintaining monthly balances. Creates and evaluates key financial indicators that provide financial and business insight to management. Proactively maintains and enhances financial planning and analysis systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of data. Supports Finance Managers on ad hoc business requests and works directly with operational managers in meeting their finance requirements. May have audit and accounting exposure.

• Assist in month end close, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting for Commercial Services business (+$300M business) primarily supporting the Managed Markets product offerings (+$70M portfolio).
• Record GL entries during the monthly close cycle
• Review GL postings and prepare reclassification entries
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Assist in coordination of meetings with COE leaders for various initiatives
• Assist in annual preparation of cost rates for Commercial Services
• Assist in preparation of Commercial Services capital request initiatives
• Assist in preparation of executive level slide decks for business and operating reviews
• Assist in building summary excel files and analysis for the entire CS business
• Provide financial support for acquisitions when required
• Various ad-hoc reporting requirements and ad hoc duties as assigned
• Desire to develop necessary skill sets to business partner with COE leaders

• Demonstrated experience with managing multiple deadlines in a time sensitive environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, problem solving, and highly detail oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Must be flexible and an effective team player
