Job description, responsibilities and duties
IPsoft is looking for a passionate Cloud DevOps to join the team with a mission to provision and operate cloud systems. It includes monitoring, root cause analysis, application lifecycle, automation development and internal tools implementation.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience in using and managing cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in using auto configuration systems (Chef\Terraform\Ansible\Cloud formation)
• Experience in using Kubernetes, Helm charts, Docker
• Good knowledge of Scripting: Bash, Ruby, Python, PowerShell
• Knowledge of DevOps / Understanding of the DevOps philosophy, Orchestration/Configuration Management and Continuous Integration technologies like terraform, GitLab, ansible, docker…
• Strong awareness of servers, storage, networking
• Advanced knowledge of CI/CD concepts and DevOps tools (e.g Jenkins, GIT, Argo CD, GitOps)
• Communication skills in English
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Build tools and automation to optimize the day-to-day cloud operation by leveraging 3rd party tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Jenkins, ELK, Argo, Istio
• Communicate and collaborate with global product management, support, cloud operations and QA team around the world to fulfil the requirements in time and quality
• Liaising with Cloud Operations & Field Teams to identify bugs and missing product functionality for future releases
Language skills:
• Fluent English (written & oral)
Beneficial Skills:
• Familiar with PostgreSQL, Go
• Experience with cloud product development and operations
• Experience with Grafana, Kibana, Golang
• Development of Kubernetes operator/controller
Mindset:
• Excellent problem solving & analytical ability
• Strong customer focus & aptitude to deal with complex issues
Ability to work as part of a global, virtual, multi-cultural team
