Functional Analyst (BRUSSELS)

Your Role

You will be part of a team with the following key responsibilities:
  • Analysis and capturing of Business and Functional Requirements
  • Business Process analysis and modelling
  • Assistance with mapping business processes and their respective requirements onto IT capabilities
  • Assistance in drafting Business Case, Project Charter and other project management documents
  • Definition of baseline and target business architectures
  • Domain model analysis and representation, and data modelling
  • UML Modelling (State Transition Diagrams, Activity Diagrams)
  • Risk analysis and security assessments
Skills and competences
  • Thorough expertise in organising and carrying out interviews and workshops with stakeholders to collect business process descriptions and business needs
  • Expertise in collecting, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Expertise in business process analysis, modelling and optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience in domain modelling.
  • Proven experience with enterprise data architecture and governance.
  • Expertise in drafting IT projects analysis documents and artefacts.
  • Hands-on experience with Unified Modelling Language (UML) and UML tools (Enterprise Architect, ERD, CASE, ARIS UML Designer, etc.).
  • Very good oral and written communication skills.
Nice to have
  • Hands-on experience with business process modelling (BPMN) and BPMN tools (Enterprise Architect, ARIS Designer, etc.).
  • Knowledge in project management and IT project development methodologies, ideally PM2@EC, RUP@EC or Agile@EC.
