Insignia Group of Companies is one of the most bespoke high-end lifestyle management and payment service groups in the world. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Bratislava team.


We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us modernize, automate, and optimise our infrastructure. Our primary environments are workloads hosted in our on-premises datacenter, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines from scratch, planning and managing the gradual migration of critical services from on-premises to cloud and introducing modern DevOps best practices across the organization.


What You Will Be Doing

CI/CD Implementation & Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines tailored to our applications and services.
  • Automate builds, testing, deployments, and monitoring.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

Cloud Migration

  • Drive the process ofstrategic migration of critical servicesfrom on-premises datacenter to cloud.
  • Design migration roadmaps that minimize downtime and risk while maximizing efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure hybrid cloud solutions operate seamlessly during the transition phase.

Infrastructure Management

  • Manage and optimize resources across cloud and on-premises servers.
  • Monitor, secure, and maintain infrastructure availability and performance.
  • Ensure services are scalable and resilient during and after migration.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

  • Partner with development and IT teams to coordinate cloud adoption and DevOps processes.
  • Introduce modern practices such as GitOps, containerization, and automated testing.
  • Drive cultural adoption of DevOps principles within the organization.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure infrastructure and pipelines adhere to security, compliance, and governance standards.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to improve system reliability and visibility.


What You Bring

  • Strong experience with Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, security)and Microsoft 365environments. AWS considered a plus.
  • Strong experience with Unix
  • Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines usingGitLab, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment practices.
  • Experience withDatabases & Data Management: MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis.
  • Experience with message brokers: RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka.
  • Proven experienceplanning and executing cloud migrationsfrom on-premises environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive mindset with eagerness to introduce and drive new technologies.

Personality requirements and skills

  • 3-5+ years in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Knowledge of monitoring / observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK, Site24x7).
  • Experience with hybrid identity management (Azure AD, ADFS).
  • Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Previous experience modernising legacy systems into cloud-native or containerised environments.
  • Familiarity with datacenter administration (Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, storage, networking) is considered a plus.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 deployment and integration is considered a plus.
  • Experience in Finance, Banking or other regulated industries is considered a plus.
