Cybersecurity Specialist

The Cybersecurity Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing our cybersecurity posture by leading the implementation of security measures, policies, and procedures to achieve ISO 27001 and other relevant certifications. Additionally, this role will be responsible for monitoring all relevant IT systems to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ISO 27001 Certification: Lead the implementation of the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) framework, including conducting risk assessments, developing security policies and procedures, and managing documentation requirements.
• Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and other relevant cybersecurity standards, regulations, and industry best practices, such as NIST, GDPR, and TISAX.
• Security Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring of all relevant IT systems, including networks, servers, endpoints, and applications, to detect and respond to security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
• Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures to effectively respond to cybersecurity incidents, minimize impact, and restore normal operations.
• Security Awareness Training: Provide cybersecurity awareness training and education to employees, contractors, and third-party vendors to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
• Vendor Risk Management: Assess and manage cybersecurity risks associated with third-party vendors and service providers, including conducting security assessments and ensuring contractual compliance with security requirements.
• Security Tool Management: Evaluate, implement, and manage cybersecurity tools and technologies the organization's security posture.
• Security Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date security documentation, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and incident reports. Prepare regular reports on security metrics, compliance status, and incident response activities for management review.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001, …. ) preferred.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on achieving cybersecurity certifications and implementing security controls in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, with experience in risk management, incident response, and security monitoring.
• Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
