Measurement Specialist

As Measurement Specialist you will be responsible for the measurement of supply materials and finished goods in cooperation with production and project department. Responsible in managing metrological documentation, performing internal and external calibration of measuring devices and gauges.

Main responsibilities:

• Providing support to the company through measurement of materials and products in laboratory.
  
• Creation of measurement and calibration records & reports for distribution to other parties.
• Active participation in measurement during new product validation and serial production.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions within problem solving process.
• Ensuring that all equipment and gauges are regularly controlled and calibrated.
• Review calibration certificates to verify that calibration requirements were met.
• Support and participate in process procurement and installing of new measurement equipment and gauges.
• Participate in the management and control of measurement requirements acc. to schedule in the laboratory and shopfloor.
• Maintain calibration standards including revising and writing new calibration and measurement procedures.
• Support the company with advice and recommendations on the method of measurement, use of the measurement equipment, etc.
• Provide measurement equipment training for the relevant team.
• Identifying problems with product design or layouts to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain and control cleanliness requirements and laboratory premises.
• Support and participate in process improvement activities.
• Write quality reports and provide results to OQE.
• Work in ERP system.
• Follow all relevant health and safety regulations. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Education: chemical or engineering specialization (high school or university)
• At least 2 years’ experience in production 
• Experience with calibration is an advantage.
• Experience with working at measurement department is an advantage

• Experience with and knowledge of Li-ion batteries is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to readily adapt to changes in calibration priorities.

• Basic knowledge in MS Office. 
• English language advanced.
