Job description, responsibilities and duties
Main purpose of the role Senior Logistics Specialist is to manage and monitor flow of direct material & empty packaging for serial production with focus on quality, timing and environment.
- Monitor status of planned deliveries of direct material within ERP
- Escalation in case of expected delays in regards of material delivery
- Optimization of material stock level - set up of min max
- Management of material supply from external warehouse – shuttle
- Management of premium freights in regards of direct material delivery
- Change management - material demand ramp-up/ramp-down phase management, launch of new product, engineering changes
- ERP management - Follow up / Master Data
- Logistic claims and problem solving management
- KPI management within supply chain
- Management of documentation, procedures & manuals
- Empty packaging management
- Responsibility for implementation, maintenance and set up of allocated modules of ERP system

- Excellent knowledge of logistics processes
- Working experience of ERP or relevant software (e.g. SAP MM)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
