Working Hours & Location:
This role is available fully remote or hybrid with our Bratislava office. Flexible working hours with an expectation of overlap during Central European Time (CET) business hours.

Slovakia, Czech Republic, or other locations within CET-compatible time zones
Bratislava, Slovakia (optional hybrid model)
Flexibility:
Work remotely, with occasional visits to the office for key meetings or collaborative sessions.

As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services that support critical operations within Innovatrics' Fingera platform. Fingera integrates attendance tracking, access control, and catering management into a unified system, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and security for businesses across various sectors, including manufacturing, retail, and hospitality. Your work will directly impact our customers' daily operations by addressing their pain points, such as attendance accuracy, fraud prevention, and efficient shift management.

You’ll have the opportunity to:
Within one month, you will…

• Familiarize yourself with our technical infrastructure, product architecture, and development workflows.
• Set up your development environment and complete onboarding tasks.
• Participate in your first sprint planning and delivery cycle.
• Build relationships with colleagues both inside and outside of your immediate team to foster effective collaboration.

Within three months, you will…

• Independently contributed to feature development, bug fixes, and enhancements in our Ruby on Rails applications.
• Fully engage in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Begin understanding deeper business logic and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Within six months, you will…

• Lead technical design discussions and effectively implement complex features.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and devise strategic solutions to address scalability issues.
• Mentor junior developers, promoting best practices and high coding standards.

Within one year, you will…

• Own and lead significant portions of our backend architecture, influencing long-term technical strategy.
• Continuously improve our technology stack, promoting innovation, scalability, and reliability.
• Actively participate in shaping product roadmaps alongside Product Management and Engineering leadership.
