The Advanced Financial Analyst - Service Task Force (m/f/d) will be responsible for projects to increase revenue, profitability and/or cash for Jenbacher Services business, will assist in leading projects to simplify and automate service finance processes, will drive rigor and improve discipline around key service processes and will perform financial validation of business cases / initiatives. Place of work: Jenbach, Tyrol, Austria.
• Coordinate projects assigned by Head of Service Finance and Head of Controlling aimed to increase revenue, profitability and/or cash for Jenbacher Services business
• Independently identify opportunities which help to gain additional revenue / margin / cash for the business
• Assist in leading cross-functional projects with the aim to improve business performance, eliminate number of manual journal entries, simplify and automate service finance processes
• Perform financial validation of business cases / initiatives; calculate margin, EBITDA, pay back period, net present value
• Prepare project plans for key projects / business cases / initiatives that you are working on with key actions items, owners, deadlines and execution tracking
• Work with key stakeholders to draw process maps for key service processes with risks and controls; assess wing-to-wing processes and identify weaknesses / gaps
• Come up with potential solutions for gaps identified; select and drive implementation of best possible solutions
• Liaise and collaborate with Operations and other Finance teams to solve accounting / service finance issues and implement sustainable working solutions

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business
• Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• Excellent communication skills and assertiveness: first experience working across multiple levels or functions; be able to communicate complex financial information
• Good experience with financial systems/applications (Oracle, SAP etc.)
• Excellent Excel skills, experienced with large sets of data
• Proactive learner, clear thinker, problem solving attitude
• Flexible and works well with deadlines
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
