Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Finance Manager we are looking for isn´t, therefore, a traditional Finance Manager who deals mainly with accounting, controlling and administrative tasks. This role is fitting also for a professional who has developed his/her career in the logistics sector in some commercial or operations role and moved to finance management later. Business drive, personal maturity, strong negotiation and communication skills gained in some international structures as well as certain entrepreneurship are the best grounds to be successful in this role.

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years of experience in a Finance Manager role, being part of a management team
• Experienced in an international, dynamic, and changing environment
• Business partnership attitude
• Knowledge of operations and fulfilment process of advantage
• Experience in industry, distribution, logistics, or retail sector
• Knowledge of accounting & tax legislation; Open book model experience is of advantage
• People management skills
• Business performance-driven mind set, ability to cooperate and negotiate efficiently with clients, suppliers, and authorities
• Mature, communicative, outgoing, hands-on mentality
• Organized able to work in a very fast-paced, changing environment with high-cost sensitivity
• Native Slovak Fluent English required for daily communication with the client and suppliers
