Job description, responsibilities and duties
Our client is an industry leader providing B2B services to different industries all over the world. Due to concentration of financial and accounting services for the group in Prague, we are looking for highly qualified candidates for the positions of Senior Accounting Managers for Southern Europe plus France and Italy or DACH plus Benelux. Soon we will start to search candidates also for smaller regions. (France, DACH, Italy).
The positions are responsible for all aspects of financial accounting operations of the company in the particular sub- regions, including production of periodic financial reports and maintenance of accounting records, processes and systems. The positions will directly manage Accounting specialists for particular countries.
They will be based in Prague.
Key tasks:
* Accounting & Control (monthly close processes, accuracy of balance sheet and profit and loss reports, etc.)
* Ensure the application of accounting standards and processes in accordance with local country requirements
* Pro-active collaboration with 3-rd party providers
* Statutory Reporting
* Taxes
* Treasury
* Transfer pricing
* Internal pricing and risks
* Policy&Compliance
* Transformation & Standardisation
* Team leading

* Internationally recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, CA… )
* 5+ year professional experience in leading accounting or financial team in multinational environment
* IFRS and local GAAP experience
* Big 4 or comparable audit experience desirable
* Previous experience in working in shared service environment and/or global finance team with geographically diverse businesses
* Awareness of FP&A, Commercial and Supply Chain finance processes
* Able to operate in a complex environment
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
* Proven track record of leading and developing teams
* Solid understanding of multi-currency financial environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Fluent English and knowledge of other relevant language - French or Italian or German or Spanish or Dutch (native speakers are desirable), Czech is not necessary
* Experience with SAP is welcome
* MS Office, mainly Excel
* Working place in Prague
