Our Screening team is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sanctions Defender to help us manage daily operations. If you are a self-starter with a “can do” attitude who is willing to go an extra mile and is looking forward to working in a dynamic and quickly expanding team, this can be an opportunity for you!

Your tasks would be:


  • Screening of payments, customer databases and adverse media articles
  • Investigation and verification of generated alerts against sanction lists
  • Analysis of suspicious transactions
  • Advising and proactively following-up possible risks
  • Communication with ING Bank branches worldwide
  • Regularly identifying areas for improvement
  • Other tasks and administrative support on a day-to-day basis

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
