About the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Since systems, applications, products, and processing of financial transactions is changing and evolving continuously it is necessary to test the said changes accordingly before implementing it into the PROD.

The task of this position is to verify and ensure that the software application meets the specific needs and requirements of the given company, legislation and its users, before it is officially put into production.

All the applications, service types and business partners are defined in Service Catalogue.

The tester is obliged to help other colleagues in the performance of work within the department, to conduct internal trainings, to fulfil the tasks arising from Scrum and comply with the team's internal rules.

Main tasks



  • Perform user acceptance tests - preparation of test cases, tests, evaluation of results with detailed descriptions of test status and recommendations for "GoLive"
  • Analysis of changes, application static data setting and maintenance, proposals for E2E product flows and other related steps
  • Participation in test automation
  • Test management, participation in Incident management
  • Participate on solutions of production defects and issues.
  • Participate on preparation of clients before “GoLive” (detailed presentation of results, etc.)
  • Perform internal trainings for colleagues
  • Update of team´s processes and procedures
  • Following the Team Rules
  • Team Scrum - management, definition of purpose, responsibility for completion of defined tasks, evaluation, and presentation of results
  • In addition, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined by direct manager or employers (e.g. participate in improving team processes).

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Expert knowledge in the field of user tests, project management, test automation, banking knowledge.
  • English on advanced level
  • SQL - an advantage
  • Selenium with Java framework - an advantage
  • Test management skills - an advantage
  • Banking products and applications - an advantage
  • Incident management knowledge – an advantage
  • Process oriented and analytical skills
