About the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The U.S. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the European equivalent, Common Reporting Standard (CRS) require financial institutions such as ING Bank to collect and report tax related information about its clients (Account Holders) and their accounts held.

Your Mission is to monitor and coordinate the appropriate implementation of FATCA/ CRS requirements for all ING Wholesale entities in Netherlands within scope of FATCA/CRS.

What will you do in this role? Here are the responsibilities:

  • Process lead for FATCA/CRS account reporting and responsible for Wholesale tax reporting to Dutch tax authorities;
  • Support the Responsible FATCA/CRS Officer in his/her duties, amongst others act as delegate to establish, execute and maintain local FATCA/CRS compliance programme;
  • Being the local point of contact for the Global FATCA/CRS Coordinator;
  • Implement FATCA/CRS/US Withholding Account Reporting governance and control framework;
  • Coordination and oversight of FATCA/CRS procedures and work instructions, both in design and execution, related to regulations, policies and control standards. This also encompasses Wholesale tax reporting, US Withholding tax and Qualified Intermediary;
  • Implementation and execution FATCA/CRS/US Withholding control standards;
  • SPOC for all FATCA/CRS related topics in the domain;
  • Establish and maintain relevant training plan and provide trainings for stakeholders;
