Work environment
Financial Markets Client Control (FMCC) is a department within Financial Markets (FM) Business Services (part of ING Wholesale Banking). The department consists of a Centre of Excellence (COE) in Amsterdam and two execution locations in ING Hubs Slovakia and ING Hubs Philippines that provide services to 30 countries worldwide. The aim of these services is to ensure control throughout the client and counterparty life-cycle (from on-boarding to exit and all processes in between) for FM and Group Treasury (GT). FMCC works using ING’s One Agile Way Of Working principles.

Job Description
Client Support Executive is a task-oriented position for an individual with strong attention to detail, enjoying communication and coming up with own improvement’s idea. As a Client Support Executive:
  • You maintain contact with FM clients via email channel and coordinate the end-to-end client outreach administrative process
  • You are primary contact for the global front office locations and ING Hubs locations
  • You cooperate with stakeholders and keep them informed about the progress of their request
  • You participate in FM related projects that include client outreach communication
  • You assist clients, identify their needs, and detect potential technical and/ or functional issues in Financial Markets client control area applying the experience and knowledge to diagnose; prioritize, advise and resolve cases

Client Support Executive plays a vital role in communication with FM clients and become one of ING’s central contact points for FM clients.

Main roles and responsibilities:
As Client Support Executive:
  • You manage client outreach communication with FM clients
  • You govern the cooperation with stakeholders connected with client outreach communication
  • You focus on existing client portfolio and its compliancy with legal and regulatory requirements including MiFID, EMIR, SFTR and Dodd Frank, aiming for FM business continuity and company risk mitigation
  • You come up with improvement ideas and drive their implementation

As Client Support Executive, you are the gatekeeper for client outreach communication with FM clients via email channel and govern the client outreach administrative process.

As Client Support Executive, you:
  • Are the first point of contact for client outreaches and
  • Pro-actively manage communication with clients

  • 2-3 years working experience in the financial sector, previous experience with MiFID, EMIR, SFTR, Dodd Frank or other financial regulations is a big advantage
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) and experienced in working in an international environment
  • Experienced in communication with the clients
  • Skilled in Excel
  • Presentation skills
