Supply Chain Finance - Working Capital Solutions Specialist

ING is looking to expand by hiring a Working Capital Solutions (WCS) specialist to support our delivery team in building and optimizing ING’s Supply Chain Finance business. The core role of the WCS Specialist is to support the onboarding of new customers (buyers/suppliers) and the associated daily handling within the various WCS programs. As well as structuring and arranging the de-risking of our book to other Financial Institutions.
You will be working with colleagues within your team, our IBSS team and foreign offices (WCS related) of different disciplines and geographies. You will be an important part and significant contributor to the business growth of WCS.

Job description:
The role involves joining a team of highly motivated professionals with a mission to establish ING as a global player in the evolving Supply Chain Finance market space. This business has a strong mandate to grow in the coming years.
Your specific role as a WCS Specialist is related to mid-office and customer support which involves the onboarding of buyers, suppliers and financial institutions, developing a day to day working relationship with our customers and managing the operations of deals on a daily basis within WCS programs.
You will have contact with buyers, (key) suppliers and financial institutions during onboarding process, including screening and setting them up in the internal systems. You will support the team in the Netherlands by preparing, sending, receiving of documentation and performing sanity checks on the various deliverables.
In this job you will be developing a day to day working relationship with various colleagues, our customers and managing the execution and on-going operations of transactions. You will work very closely within your team under a WCS team lead. We expect you to provide support and advice to other members of the team where needed and appropriate.

Next to that, you efficiently manage your work allocation, independently working towards output and continuous improvement identification and realization. Additionally you are convincing, strong in problem analysis and judgment, creative in your solutions and are open to receiving constructive feedback.
