About the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Our main goal is to help our colleagues at ING branches all over the Europe to fulfil our clients´ wishes related to their accounts. It doesn´t matter if it is an account opening, closing or modification, we have got it all covered! And we want you to be part of our team, so every ING client gets their requests done in timely and accurate manner. All you need is a willingness to learn, an enthusiasm and a team spirit, as there is no “I” in Data Entry Team.

Summary of responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of customer and account databases in multiple banking systems
  • Processing of interest and exchange rates for multiple countries
  • Setting of reporting and fees for our clients
  • Creating reports and reconciliations
  • Handling messages sent between banks on global scale
  • Helping our colleagues at payments department with some of the payments
  • Participating in and leading of projects that concern our department´s workflow

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Experience in the position/sector

1-2 years of experience in (bank) back office is an advantage but not a must

Personality requirements and skills

  • You like to investigate
  • You have a passion for more technical type of work (e.g. Excel)
  • You are flexible, accurate, result-oriented and a team player with a positive drive
  • You feel comfortable in a fast-changing environment
  • You are willing to learn every day in a continuous moving global environment with high expectations of services.
  • Basic knowledge of French and/or Dutch is plus but not a must
