We are looking for people who can use their analytical power to make sure that internal ING applications and information systems follow security standards. You will be part of a small team which is part of a rapidly growing IT General Controls department.


What can you expect?

We will help you become a fully skilled IT Key Control Tester, you are given guidance and training on the job to gain the required basic knowledge of audit process.

You will be able to perform internal audits within your area of scope including defining testing approaches, reviewing test samples, identifying potential issues, and reporting on audit findings.
You will also complete audit work in accordance with IT Minimum standards and ING Audit standards .

You will collaborate with ING colleagues across countries, learn how we work in an Agile environment and how to use data to make the right decisions with your team.

How are you contributing to ING?

You play an essential role in ensuring the good reputation of ING.
In practice this means, you will:

  • Execute IT Key Control by comparing the delivered evidence with required evidence according to the ING Standards
  • Come to conclusion Effective/Ineffective test, based on the evidence
  • Give input to the expert for the evaluation of Ineffective test results to determine deficiencies
  • Collaborating and sharing your knowledge with your teammates

Would be also beneficial for this position but not mandatory, if you …

  • Have any experience in the IT ( IT risk management, Testing, IT Service Desk, Access Management ), Non financial risk in banking industry
  • Have experience with enterprise-level processes and controls (Sox testing experience preferred)
  • Have ability to define the steps to take to make the risk / test process effective and first time right
  • Have experience with ServiceNow, Azure or Office 365 tools

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
