1 700 EUR/month*By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.

Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

As part of local accounting, you will encounter the following activities:
• Calculation and reporting of all relevant taxes (VAT, CIT, Transfer pricing)
• Reporting to Statistical Office and National bank of Slovakia
• Update and complete the accounting procedures and WPIs under the area of responsibility
• Ensure accounting in compliance with internal/external regulations
• Preparation of accounting entries in compliance with internal accounting procedures / with Slovak legislation requirements for the area of responsibility
• Execute monthly/yearly closing procedures (reconciliation of payables/receivables)
• Accounts for monthly/yearly accruals securing accuracy and completeness under the area of responsibility
• Provide back-up for the activities within the department
• Cooperate within Finance with controlling and procurement. Cooperates with all the IBSS departments regarding the mentioned scope of responsibility
• Create payment instructions in line with internal payments procedures

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Microsoft Excel - advanced

Personality requirements and skills

• 3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Slovak accounting principles and tax legislation
• Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage
• University degree in Economy or high school degree with a focus on economics
• Process-oriented and analytical
• Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside and outside the company
• Problem solver
• Fluent English (strong B2)
