Your role as a Business Control Officer
For our Key Control Testing (KCT) squad we are looking for a Business Control Officer to support migration activities in the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) area. We provide key control testing activities for ING Wholesale banking locations globally. KCT means veryfying whether particular ING branches worldwide are compliant from procedural and process perspective with the Global minimum standards (controls). Our squad’s mission is: Building a platform of expertise on NFR, focussing on standardisation, efficiency and collaboration in an innovate way.

Some of your daily tasks:

• Take ownership in migrating compliance testing activities to the ING Shared Services Bratislava Control Hub team
• Standardise and centralise KCT activities while focusing on continuous improvements
• Support with operational activities like, for example, collect and administer risk and control owners in iRisk tool.

Your working environment
IBSS Bratislava (ING Bank Shared Services Bratislava) is the servicing hub for ING Wholesale entities for their 1st line of defense risk management activities. These are exciting times for us as we are migrating more work not only focused on operational tasks, but more and more knowledge work in design and consultancy roles such as key control testing. We are part of the IBSS organization which consists of servicing hubs around the globe. The vision is to centralize the processing activities of ING to these servicing hubs to help harmonize and standardize products and processes in order to give an outstanding and differentiating client experience to all clients of ING worldwide

Personality requirements and skills

• University education
• English at C1 level
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Drive to work in an international and complex environment
• Self-starter, good at multitasking, great organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to manage a resource coordination (FTE) and planning activities, incl. reporting (Excel)
• Experience with stakeholder management and project management
• Experience with people management is an advantage
• Experience with working in an Agile environment is an advantage
• Result oriented and Independent in acting and decision making
• MS Office advanced

Nice to have:
• Background in Non-Financial Risk or Internal Audit or Compliance testing
• Non-financial Risk Knowledge
