Your role and work environment
IBSS Bratislava (ING Bank Shared Services Bratislava) is a shared services hub providing banking services for ING wholesale & retail branches worldwide. These are exciting times for us as we are now also starting to offer more and more complex roles and are currently growing our Anti-Money Laundering capabilities.

As the QA Senior Team Lead you will be a role model and help build the Anti-Money Laundering quality assurance organization within Wholesale Banking. You are a servant leader who is up for the challenge of delivering services according to SLA, with high quality and in accordance with risk and compliance policies, but at the same time able to implement the necessary changes to stay relevant and in perfect shape for the future. You live for Operational Excellence, Risk Management and Agile and know how to inspire your colleagues and employees to do the same.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate and develop two teams (of approximately 10 people each) responsible for conducting AML quality assurance activities
  • Ensure internal AML processes are implemented and working correctly and help identify and report on any gaps
  • Develop and mature the team’s internal processes and procedures and ensure these are in sync with ING’s Agile way of working
  • Ensure team is able to meet all agreed Service Levels in terms of completion timeliness and quality
  • Regular reporting of any identified deficiencies in AML processes
  • Communication and escalation with management, internal clients and business partners
  • Identify, design and implement improvements on the way of working, work-instructions and possible automation

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

  • 3+ years’ experience in risk management, Compliance or Audit related function
  • 2+ years’ experience with people management (preferably from a banking or shared services background)
  • Willingness to transform this people management experience into our One Agile Way of Working
  • Ability to empower people through leadership, coaching skills and by acting as a role model
  • Influence skills with local and global functional leaders to ensure global collaboration without losing track of your role as service provider
  • BS/BA degree or higher
  • Fluent in English (C1 level)
