About the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Manager of the Transaction Services (TS) Expert center will be responsible to manage 4 teams related to ING’s corporate transaction services (4 direct reports, manager of managers / team-leads) (total around 40 FTEs)
  • Pricing Desk responsible for operational and strategic pricing of Payments & Cash Management product group
  • Sales Support and Proposal Unit responsible for supporting the Payments & Cash Management Sales colleagues in individual sales deals and drafting client proposals.
  • Client Migration team responsible for supporting client in complex migrations of ING products & Services to new products & services (like Corporate digital Channels)
  • Working Capital Solution responsible for running and supporting clients in supplier and buyer programmes

In this role, he/she will work closely with ING sales colleagues in multiple countries (Europe and US) as well as ING colleagues in head office Amsterdam in product management and sales management.

  • Managing, coaching inspiring, developing, evaluating and assessing employees
  • Building the teams and ensure teams are adequately staffed in terms of quality and quantity including teamleads

  • Networks
  • Building and maintaining of local and international network to amplify his/her own professionalism and create a platform.
  • Making an active contribution to meetings and events with sales and product management colleagues
  • Collaboration in the value chain (sales, client services, implementation management) with the involvement of various areas of expertise.

  • Service & Management:
  • Reliable and efficient execution of operations for all product-related customer processes:
1.Pricing of large and complex corporate client deals and drives strategic price setting for the Payments&Cash Management productgroup: payments products, accounts, reporting banking channels and cash pool products.
2. Supporting sales colleagues in capabilities, country specifics and client proposals relating to Payments&Cash Management product group
3. Managing a team of client migration managers; supporting corporate clients when migrating to new ING products&services (like eg. Complex internet banking channels)
4. Managing the team supporting in buyer&supplier onboarding programmes and related services
