As a Local Agile Coach Expertise Lead, you are the promoter of the new way of working and eager to install the new culture and push it forward in a consistent way across ING Shared Services Bratislava.

Your role as Local Agile Coach Expertise Lead
You as an Agile Coach have a passion for communication, coaching and group dynamics, in which you further shape the One Agile Way of Working and culture across our Global Services and Operations (GSO) unit in Bratislava.
You as an Local Agile Coach Expertise Lead are responsible for the professionalization and Step Up Performance cycle (on both a personal and professional level) of a team of Agile Coaches in Bratislava. You report hierarchically into the Business Expertise Centre and Functionally into the Global Expertise Lead from the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Process Engineer & Coaching.
You deliver, like the members of the expertise team, a substantive contribution in the field of Agile or Lean coaching.

Your key responsibilities
  • You build and develop High Performing Teams
  • You coach the Super(circles)/Customer Loyalty teams (CLTs) and their team members to work accordingly to the agreed agile values, principles and methodology.
  • You facilitate reviews, retrospectives, stand-up meetings, sprint- and planning sessions. You ensure that Agile events are held and are effective.
  • In addition, you coach the (senior) management on Agile Leadership and you stimulate a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation.
  • You ensure that team members take joint ownership for realizing value and that they commit to clear and common objectives and customer promises (purpose)
  • You encourage team members to provide feedback by enhancing a safe atmosphere
  • You stimulate the sharing of experience, “best- and worst practices”, knowledge and information with other Agile coaches, also across ING business lines & countries.

Personality requirements and skills

We are looking for:
  • University degree
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of industry or functional domain experience
  • You are likely to have gained this experience as trusted advisor/coach role or as senior manager building high performing teams.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of and experience with Agile Methods; certification in Agile methods and/or proven skills as Agile Coach is an advantage
  • You ideally master Scrum, Lean or Kanban
  • You have experience in training-, coaching- People Management and/or change roles
  • Experience in guiding and realising change.
  • Ability to coach and support business professionals and to develop their expertise
  • Experience in multinational corporations and affinity with Banking is a plus
  • Excellent level of English

  • You have the ability to solve problems in a creative way and eliminate obstacles in a not obvious way
  • You are a strong communicator on different levels of skills and seniority; you stimulate cross-border interaction and alignment
  • You have the passion to coach others and you are a true source of inspiration and motivation
  • You are a strong team player

  • You are self-steering, proactive, organised and have the ability to determine independently what needs to be done
