Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced candidate who will ongoingly provide remote technical maintenance services and support to users and participate in projects. A proactive and customer-friendly approach to problem solving situations is a must.

Users have to have an almost perfect and efficient working environment. Technical competence and social skills are a simple precondition.
IT-related enquiries in all service aspects (incident and problem reports, technical issues, sometimes lack of skills) have to be solved sustainably. Your work is being supported by an information system and a task management. You are working in a team and involve skills you do not cover yourself seamlessly.
We proactively contact key users (opinion leaders) unaskedly (just in order to show that we actively feel responsible for them) and for their feedback. Their positive value perception regarding our services is everything to us.

Administration of business software in Mac and Windows Environments. Experience with Linux environments is a plus. Workstation operating systems configuration including tools like password managers, etc....
- Basic knowledge of computer networks and protocols (VPN, VoIP, DNS, DHCP,
- Manage updates and backups.
- If possible to do this remotely: Installing computer peripherals in accordance with
vendor-supplied installation instructions and perform diagnostic testing.
- Providing remote technical support to end users. Patience, empathy and expertise
- Participating in IT and organization development projects.
As a remote supporter you will
- manage desktops, laptops, optionally also servers remotely
- monitor resources, running applications and services
- customer care via video conference, remote desktop tools, phone, signal chats
- administrate users, groups and their access rights
- maintain commodities like email clients, phone extensions, etc...
- allocate sources of problems, solve yourself or get them solved by other knowhow carriers in our team and network

* ambitious auto-didactic talents without any degree, IT (can also mean: outrageous auto-didactic expert) /// German – Advanced and fluently (C1) as second language would be a BIG plus

• Customer orientation
At least 2 years of work experience as IT Help desk, Infrastructure Engineer, IT Administrator or a similar position.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft desktop products
• Good knowledge of PC’s architecture and peripherals
Windows, Mac OS, Android and Mac IOS
