Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Index reporting in area price development of raw and packaging materials and manufacturing and transport costs of finished goods
• Ensuring consistency and reliability of data
• Highlighting significant changes compared to previous reporting period and preparing feedback to purchasing management on these price developments
• Reporting and analysis of development of cash networking capital
• Tracking and reporting on savings projects within Cost Chase Database
• Coordination of activities with global purchasing community - collecting regional inputs, merging/bridging regional inputs with regards to global perspective
• Consolidation and presentation of inputs to higher purchasing management

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

1.200 € (minimum, salary range could be higher according to candidates qualification)

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - advanced

Number of years of experience


Personality requirements and skills

• University education in a related field to economics/finance/purchasing/controlling
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably purchasing/controlling/pricing/reporting, in an international company
• Active level of English language in verbal and written form (min. B2, optimum C1)
• Excel on upper-intermediate / advanced level (lookups, pivot tables - minimum)
• Knowledge of VBA will be an advantage
• Strong analytical skills
• Proactive communication style, customer service approach with the ability to interact with contacts from different countries and different managerial levels
• Energy, drive and determination to succeed and to reach challenging targets
• Working independently and be imaginative; thinking outside the box; identifying process improvements
