Lean Coach

In this role, employee:
• Participates in the plant’s direction setting process – customer value / critical success factors / goals, based on his expertise.
• Is Co-responsible for increasing the ratio of value to non-value, and eliminating waste in the overall supply chain from start to finish, for a defined product family.
• Is instrumental in the definition of the valuestream(s) with the plant MT and the selection of the processes to make lean (current state to future state). Leads the implementation of the overall plan and mobilizes business owners to enable the required changes.
• Supports definition of goals and targets for improvement teams based on his knowledge of “lean” tools, “lean” measurables and tools for continuous improvement, resulting in dedicated training programs.
• Gives internal training on lean behaviour change, team skills, train the trainer. Facilitator on education/mentoring on a pull basis.
