About the job:
The purpose of this is to create a Business Partner and coach with the task to secure the effective use of communication. To make sure we see and use communication as an enabler to reach the business and people objectives as well as create trust in IKEA. The person in this role will contribute to develop internal and external communication on a strategic and operational level based on the Business Plan.

About the assignment:
The Communication Business Partner will work to optimize and ensure effective and professional communication towards our co-workers, other IKEA units, suppliers or other external stakeholders. Tasks in this position includes coaching, advising and supporting leaders and by building commitment and loyalty towards the IKEA brand, support an open and sharing climate where the IKEA culture is a living reality.

The position will include:
• Building and developing efficient communication landscape for the assigned area, securing aligned communication within IKEA Components.
• Planning and securing communication that supports togetherness and sense of belonging within IKEA Components.
• Advising, mentoring, coach & train co-workers, management teams and leaders in developing communication skills so as many as possible lead with communication.
• Identify communication competence needs and secure competence development around communication together with HR.
• Support process of change management.
• Translate business challenges to communication needs and create strategies and activities.
• Being a member of and contribute into IKEA Components Communication Matrix and the Management group in assigned area.
• Participate and/or lead global or local communication projects when required.
• Create content and ensure IKEA tone of voice, IKEA visual identity, consistency and simplicity in the communication.

To succeed in this role you have experience from:
• Developing strategic internal communication, preferably from a complex or global organization.
• You are successful in combining both strategic and operative communication tasks, and naturally you have strong writing skills and a flair for visual communications.
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships as well as to influence and challenge.
