Responsible for IKEA supplier satisfaction on an operational level
Responsible for order handling, deviation handling, claim handling, securing all necessary system updates
Cooperation with internal stakeholders
Collect market information to secure good performance of daily operations
Operational responsible for start up of new articles

Information about the selection process

Purpose of job of Market Operator is to secure market activities on an operational level with concerned IKEA suppliers and IKEA Trading Areas, making us perceived as a service minded and professional business partner.

The contract is limited for one year.

IKEA Components as a part of IKEA Supply Chain is focusing on the best solutions in purchasing, industrial packaging and distribution of furniture fittings and components.
The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and trade of raw materials, components and fittings. Our business is global and employs more than 1 100 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. As a part of the supplying process, we add value by packaging fitting bags for furniture assembly. Every year we pack and distribute over 200 million fitting bags. Our site in Malacky employs 700 permanent co-workers, but will grow next coming 3 years. The site is located 40 min from Bratislava and one hour from Vienna.
