Job description, responsibilities and duties
The SAP support expert ensures all SAP core modules related processes managed through the SAP ERP applications are running smoothly all around the globe
The role will be responsible for the delivery, support, improvement of processes and functionalities within an automotive manufacturing organization, utilizing SAP R/3.
The main responsibilities are:
- work as part of the IT team, accountable for SAP system stability and alignment with the business needs
- responsible for level 1 and level 2 support on the core modules
- execute and improve the SAP company's overall system
- broadcast and manage day-to-day maintenance procedures and upgrades
- analyze and troubleshoot in order to resolve problems quickly and cost effectively
- create training and technical support documentation
- look for procedural problems and recommend solutions and procedure improvements
- implementing new or different kinds of l tools / functionality, support and key users procedures
- ensure the prevention of reoccurring support issues by means possible
- communicate with internal key user and external SAP partners to guide users through tech support issues
- track and ensure that the applications environment functions optimally
