Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
-Leading system development tasks, including the analysis, design, integration and testing/validation of Customer Programs from the start-up phase to the final release
-Developing and selecting new test methods, developing test tools, theoretical studies, etc.
-Ensuring that the component design meets all performance, quality and manufacturing requirements
-Providing technical support and advice to customers and suppliers
-Creating and negotiating specifications, product briefs and technical documentation
-Developing and managing specific program engineering tools, for example:
-Technical risk assessment and management
-FMEA, test validation planning and process control plan preparation
-Creating and tracking of internal engineering timing plans
-Developing and selecting new test methods, developing test tools, theoretical studies, etc.
-Ensuring that the component design meets all performance, quality and manufacturing requirements
-Providing technical support and advice to customers and suppliers
-Creating and negotiating specifications, product briefs and technical documentation

- An academic degree in an engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical or physics is desired)
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, contract documentation and government/industry standards and specifications
- A demonstrated familiarity with data acquisition systems, data analysis and processing
- Knowledge of standard business software products (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.)
- Fluency in English required, French/German is considered an asset
- Strong coordination, negotiation, organization and communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously in an international environment, creativity, team spirit, pro-active attitude.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, contract documentation and government/industry standards and specifications
