BMS Application Support Specialist

We are now looking for BMS Application Support Specialist who will be a part of the BMS (Business Management System) team that is taking care of a group of various systems and tools used internally by IBM-ers, ranging from HR to finance, that rely on BMS in order to claim costs (labor, expenses) or activate commercial invoices for project-based services.

Team's mission:
Mission of the team is to support EMEA users for any IT related problems and provide IT support for the BMS systems as well as to support various data set ups or mass updates in those systems.

We are looking for a person that loves to help people fix their technical issues, with good communication skills, analytical thinking and a person who likes challenges of complex systems and solving complex issues. This role requires good cooperation not only with colleagues co-located in Bratislava, but also with wider team located across the globe. This is a great opportunity to grow both technical and leadership capabilities, working closely with multiple DevOps teams, combining legacy and modern technologies as we are constantly transforming to improve user experience. SQL and VBA skills are welcome, but also a good opportunity to learn on this position.

What will you do:
Support IBMers on BMS systems
Troubleshoot and fix user reported issues
Document issue progress and resolution
Interface with development teams
Update our knowledge base with key information
Continously expand on your skills and knowledge of BMS systems
