Software Developer - 50% Remote

Your Role and Responsibilities :
We are looking for a resourceful, motivated and creative application developer who will provide technical leadership to enhance and develop a global Pricing application.

The application utilizes a complex logic (incl. AI), collects inputs through several interfaces, and ultimately defines the best price for the customer while ensuring the optimal profit for IBM. The Application with several thousand users (Business Partners, Pricers, and Sellers), 250k quotes processed per year with $40 billion revenue, is the place where you can utilize your experience and grow your career further.

Your responsibilities include software design and development, as well as executing the software development process to ensure operational excellence. Identifying and using DevOps tools for continuous integration, builds, and monitoring of solutions.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
- 3 years of experience in back-end SW development (Java, Springboot, JVM languages)
- 3 years of experience in Web Services, Microservices, Rest API
- experience with databases (DB2 / MySQL / Oracle / Mongo ...)
- experience in Microservices model and development, CI/CD
- experience in DevOps practices, process, and technologies, TDD, Agile approach
- ability to be in the office 50% of a week (probably form next July)

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise :
- Javascript, Javascript fameworks and libraries (Angular/AngularJS, NodeJS, React,...),
- 0ther BE SW development languages (e.g. Python,...)
- Linux operating system
- Containers, Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud and WebApps
