Telco Solutions Architect

What would be your responsibilities?


• Serving as a subject matter specialist on his/her team for Telco service platforms - VNFs/CNFs.
• Understanding and effectively communicating with solutioning team and with customer about requirements, features and limitations in the context of design and development decisions, answer RFI/RFPs
• Help prepare high level and low level design and support with review process during design phases
• Support delivery team with custom development and deployment of VNFs to private cloud solution in customer premises, cooperate with fellow teammates (Solution architect, DevOps teams, testing team) and involved parties (client, 3rd party suppliers).
• Providing foundational concepts and knowledge of virtualized network functions (mobile core EPC/5GC, Virtualize/Open RAN for 4G/5G, vIMS, etc.), capacity planning, and integration with DevOps and testing automation tool chains.



What do you need for your success?

At least one of following:

• Ability to come up with new innovative services and solutions, prepare high-level solutions based on customer business and/or technical requirements, support E2E delivery of solution
• Experience with designing Telco Services and solutions with Virtualized/Containerized Telco Service platforms deployed on Telco Cloud (one or multiple from e.g. vIMS, vIPTV, mobile core/vEPC/5GC, VoLTE, vRAN/ORAN, Private 4G/5G solutions)
• Experience with NFV solutions, NFV orchestration and management, NFV lifecycle management - automation of onboarding & configurations, assurance, fault/performance management
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools, integration and testing
• Knowledge about Virtualization/Containerization technologies (Openstack, Kubernetes/Openshift, Docker)
• Knowledge about Cloud technologies (Telco Private/Edge and public/hybrid cloud deployments)
• Knowledge about Telco specifications/standards (e.g. ETSI NFV, 3GPP, TMForum, O-RAN etc)
• Automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, HEAT, HELM, etc)
• Service/Network Modeling, APIs/Integration (Restconf, Netconf, YANG, YAML, RESTful APIs, JSON, etc)



• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and propose innovative solutions

Minimum salary starting at 4000EUR brutto, depending on your skills and experience
