Direct Tax Professional

Job Description:
IBM is seeking to hire a Tax Professional to support direct tax operations for non US entities in IBM across EMEA and APJ. The responsibilities will be focused on preparation of various tax returns, support of the tax calculations for various returns, reporting, and internal/external audit support. The Tax Professionals will liaise continuously with the country tax teams and supporting functions such as accounting and treasury. The Tax Professional will be part of a newly formed team of Tax Professionals who will be responsible for multiple entities in the EMEA and APJ regions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Corporate Income Tax Returns, review of the Returns with the Country Tax Managers and support with filing of the Returns
• Corporate Income Tax Return requirements analysis
• Calculation of Corporate Income Tax payments and prepayments
• Withholding Tax management
• Internal/External Audit support
• Review US GAAP to Statutory adjustments
