Business Sales & Delivery Executive

In this role, you should have the experience and knowledge to support both the sales of new business opportunities and the delivery of services to clients. You establish strong, trusted relationships with clients through ability to articulate solutions, and other areas of IBM used in the delivery of complex services. You also identify new business opportunities, creatively participate in the development and sales of solutions, and assist IBM in winning the business. When not participating in sales activities, your task is to support and lead billable client activities within your area. You will also Influence the functional and go to market strategy.

Scope of duties:
· managing business relationships with clients and potential clients in Slovakia (both Commercial and Public sector)
· developing key business / sales relationships and developing the strategies and tactics which will enable to win the business for IBM
· project planning and development, assessing and assuring proper resource allocation, defining work and project structure
· delivering projects on time and on budget, leading, managing and motivating project team during its execution

Key candidate requirements:
· university degree (in economics or IT), advanced degree (e.g. MBA) desirable
· knowledge of public tender procedures, practical knowledge about EU procedures and available funds
· understanding of trends, directions and goals concerning central administration and public sector institutions in Slovakia as well as competitor strategies and offerings
Knowledge of the local market and network of key individuals including C-level
· Fluent in Czech/Slovak and in English, knowledge of other EU languages desirable
· at least 7 years experience in systems implementation and integration and in business consulting
· at least 5 years experience in leading projects independently and developing client relationships
· strong team management and project management skills, excellent relationship building skills, highly motivated and able to motivate others, pro-active and ambitious, independent
· willing to travel


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience:

Must be able to demonstrate at least 2 years experience within IBM, or another similar Pan European company.
Previous experience in IBM’s Channel Sales arena is essential – experience within the IBM Channel Sales team itself would be considered as a substantial advantage.
Experience of some / or all of IBM’s Software Group Channel Initiatives is essential.
Experience in some of IBM’s Opportunity Management Processes is essential.
Experience in IBM’s Passport Advantage and Passport Advantage Express Programme is essential.

Must be a positive self starter with the ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Must be able to choose the tasks to be most effective and focus accordingly.
Must be numerate, with above average general PC, Lotus Notes, Spreadsheet, Word, Power Point and Symphony abilities
