Supplier Development ensures that supplying companies systems, processes and build capabilities meet the design intent of the customer and are compliant with the end customer’s needs and company´s internal processes.
Job description, responsibilities and duties:
- Independent management of supplier development projects
- Monitoring and reporting of supplier performance
- Further development and expansion of the supplier portfolio
- Planning, conducting and documenting supplier audits
- Carrying out process and value analyses at suppliers
- Analyse and improve supplier complaints and monitor development
- Supplier relationship management
- Teamwork with Purchasing, R&D, Logistics and the Quality departments
