Database Engineer

We are seeking a talented candidate to fill our Database Engineer position to strengthen our team to be able to provide reliable and secure financial software solutions for our clients. The role is a mid or senior position. You will become a member of dynamic team of database engineers where your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

· Database Platforms Administration (MS SQL Server and MySQL)
· SQL Development - Data extract/loads, Data reconciliation, high quality SQL code, SQL queries optimization, performance monitoring and tuning of relational databases
· Migration between database platforms
· Refactor necessary database structures, stored procedures, etc. for high performance
· Apply the principles of good database design
· Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements - automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability

Required skills:
· Proficient SQL queries writer, working T-SQL knowledge
· Deep understanding of MS SQL Server and MySQL platforms
· O365 suite of products
· Experiences with migration to MSSQL desired
· The ability to communicate well in English

Nice to have:
· SAP SQL Anywhere knowledge
· Linux OS
· Practical experience in database-centric HA/DR configuration
