Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
– Technical support for project implementation
– Work on Solution Design, Software Installation, Commissioning, Integration, Testing and Migration activities
– Technical support (including on call support) and commercial system trouble shooting
– Maintain the good relationship with customer, responsible for customer satisfaction
– Permanent professional improvement and trainings
– Create high quality documentation (specification, test procedures, site specific documentation)
– Guide and help lower level engineers to improve basic skills. Work as the tutor of new employees
– Performs other duties as required by the supervisor
– Respecting confidentiality internal rules

Personality requirements and skills
– Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT or telecommunications
– Candidate should be able to work with little or no supervision and be self-motivated
– Expert knowledge of IT products (Storages, Servers), IP Technology (Routers, Switch, Firewalls) and related services (installation, commissioning, integration etc)
– Knowledge of virtualization SWs (vmWare) and virtualization methods, UNIX/LINUX, Windows Server, Informix/Oracle/DB2, SQL Server, Data Communication Skill (Cisco)
– Knowledge in mobile communication is optional advantage - Telco VAS (VMS, SMS, MMS, IVR etc), IPTV, Intelligent Networks, OCS etc.
– Good business relationship with IT and/or telecom industry consultant, analyst, customer engineers
– Ability to understand the customer’s needs in order to design the desired solution; good presentation skills
– Contract to be signed in Slovakia, place of work Bratislava, travel to Prague expected, travel to other countries in region (Austria) possible
