Senior Accounting Specialist

Main responsibilities:

  • Support monthly VAT Return preparation + filing in time(including VAT Ledger Control Report, EC sales list, Intrastat)
AR/AP Invoices Processing, Communication with customer for cash collection, manage to reconcile AR/AP balance
  • Support monthly and quarterly closing(e.g. accruals, bookings checking etc)
  • Support the preparation of mandatory statutory statements for annual audit
  • Weekly and monthly Cash plan Preparation
  • Cooperation with accounting shared service Centre
  • Dealing and communication with Auditor and Tax Advisor
  • Project financial controlling (small projects)
  • various reporting

Qualifications:

  • University degree in economy or accounting, preferably qualified accounting or tax (e.g. ACCA)
  • 2 years Working experience with accounting in multinational organization would be advantage
  • Excellent command of English and Slovak/Czech
  • Good knowledge of Slovak GAAP and IFRS
  • Strong knowledge of Slovak Tax Requirements (VAT, CIT)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
