Information about the position:

Head of sales is active in seeking out and developing business opportunities within the major accounts in given sector - public sector (government, ministries, municipalities), financial sector, banks, insurances, utilities, major manufacturers, ISPs, IT integrators, etc. He/She uses current and develops new customer relationships, manages and coordinates activities within major accounts, promotes full range of Huawei products & solutions. On daily basis he identifies key customer requirements and coordinates with the management, product line and service support staff.


  • Seek out, identify, develop and close business opportunities with key customers from chosen market.
  • Collect and analyze all marketing information to create country wide sales strategy and plans which will identify, quantify, and recommend Sales action plans to address new business opportunities consistent with overall company strategy
  • Enhance and develop customer relationships
  • Manage and coordinate all activities between Huawei and customers. Promote the full range of Huawei Technologies solutions to defined customers.
  • Produce and deliver formal business proposals and presentations.
Identify key customer requirements and coordinate with Product solution team in order to fulfill the requirement.
  • Manage customer expectation and satisfaction. Lead product solution and service team to solve the issues raised by customers.
  • Create and present customer proposals and offerings.
  • Create co-operative business plans with customers and their partners and help to define new business models and support product features.
  • Manage the Slovakia partners’ relationship and develop the business partners, cooperate with partners develop the business in Slovakia.


  • Bachelor/Master´s degree in Business Management, Marketing or an equivalent education
  • Minimum 3 years of direct sales/account management experience in HW infrastructure and communications networks with an equipment manufacturer company, value added distributor or system integrator
  • Proven track record of building long-term relationships with major accounts – public sector (government, ministries, municipalities), financial sector, banks, insurances, utilities, major manufacturers, ISPs, IT integrators, etc.
  • Proven skills in client relationship management and building new business contact
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Skillful in communication on an executive level
  • Active command of English
  • Report-writing, analytical, project management and communication skills
  • Organizational and negotiation skills
