Job description, responsibilities and duties

Do you have a positive attitude, are you keen to develop and progress your career as an accounting generalist, preferably in a dynamic, international environment? Welcome to our small but steadily growing office in Bratislava. Working here as a member of our finance team you will take care of the day-to-day activities and transactions across a wide range of finance sub-functions including accounts payable/receivable, cash management, supporting closing activities and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- supplier invoice handling and accounting, administration and control of payables
- preparation of records for cash-flow statement
- petty cash and account transfer administration
- asset administration and control
- INTRASTAT operations
- support with monthly and annual closing, audit and statistics-related paperwork and participation in related finance projects

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

SAP - advanced
Microsoft Excel - advanced

Personality requirements and skills

- 1 year of accounting experience
(experience from an international manufacturing company an asset)
- ability to effectively plan, organise and execute activities
- proficient in double-entry bookkeeping and invoicing
- analytical thinking and pro-active approach to problem solving, attention to detail
