The EMEA Supply Chain organization, as part of HPE, is counted as one of the largest in the world in terms of revenue, network, and spend. Supply chain enables delivery and manufacture of a full portfolio of standards-based, integrated products and services developed specifically to solve the complexities of the extended enterprise and deliver a Converged Infrastructure of servers, storage, and networking. The Supply Chain organization balances volume and complexity across HPE owned, and partner factories and suppliers, to bring advanced technology solutions such as servers, storage, and networking together into one HPE Converged Infrastructure.

Sounds like you? Then we have the right opportunity—we are looking for a Deal Manager to join us! In this amazing role, you can make your mark by being assigned to the most complex and critical customer orders HPE’s sales teams are driving and have e2e responsibility to make sure all operations procedures are adhered to. With that, we make sure customer expectations are met and exceeded. In an early stage, before the customer has rewarded the business to HPE, you will need to engage with the sales team to understand the customer requirements and to produce an operational risk assessment. In collaboration with the sales team, you will address the risks and try to find resolutions to mitigate these risks away. With operations stakeholders, you will need to address the deal requirements so functional owners can prepare. Examples you could think of our products or parts not available within the requested timeframe and offering alternatives with better supply availability or risk-mitigating configuration errors that will delay the order-load process within HPE’s ordering systems. Due to the complex nature of this business, there are many things that can go wrong during the lifecycle of a sales opportunity becoming a customer order and a delivery in the end. How you’ll make your mark:
• You will be responsible for all complex deals within a sales region, country, or business domain.
• You will influence the deals while in the early sales stages with the aim to optimize the flow of the order and the end result for the customer.
• You will review the performance of sales processing activities for assigned areas and accounts
• You will analyze results to develop forecasts, identify issues and opportunities, and works directly with clients to resolve claims or inquiries
• You will communicate data and issue analysis to clients, stakeholders, and management.
• You will be providing tangible feedback and proposes changes to sales processes, policies, and tools to improve performance and increase customer satisfaction
• You will provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Personality requirements and skills

About you:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or Engineering
• You have strong Program Management Skills and experience, preferably on multiple projects/initiatives running at the same time.
• You can communicate clearly and are experienced in presenting to executive-level leaders.
• You have the ability to manage change and re-prioritization daily in line with customer demands.
• You can review and interpret client agreements and resolving ambiguity or issues
• You are using forecasting and planning methodologies to develop guidance for deploying sales processing resources and activities.
• You have good analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills.
