WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Business Analyst at the Hotovo Group, you will help gather requirements and define stories for projects and initiatives relating to the Enterprise Risk Management system. You will work with a Sydney based Product Team to develop and define high level requirements. You will help to coordinate the development team based in Slovakia and communicate requirements and stories with them.

You will be expected to:
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with Product Managers, SMEs, Designers and Developers.
- Ensure requirements are in alignment with designs.
- Define high level requirements where required (although this may also be actioned by our Product Owners)
- Utilize high level requirements to develop detailed stories used by development teams.
- Set up and manage story grooming and sizing sessions, ensuring a constant feed of stories are ready for future sprints.
- Together with Product and Development team develop, and maintain requirements for projects and enhancements to the ERM system
- Track traceability of stories back to high level requirements, ensuring they meet business needs.
- Track changes in requirements.
- Work with Team Leads and Project Managers to groom and size stories.
- Working with product managers, designers and SMEs, actioning or facilitating the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories and estimates.
- Collaborate with Developers and Testers to ensure requirements are testable.
- Providing third-level support to business users.
- Working with remote teams and across different time zones

- 2 years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst with experience of writing high level requirements, as well as detailed stories for website development and/or complex systems
- Experience understanding or defining requirements for APIs
- Experience defining low level wire frames.
- Experience with SQL script writing or other relational Db.
- Experience with cloud native web products.
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with Inetsoft or other BI tools
- Experience engaging clients as part of project teams
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Technically oriented - having an overview of technologies and their limits, ability to make decisions based on knowledge of product and technologies used.
