Job description, responsibilities and duties
- active involvement in the freight forwarding activity including contact with suppliers and customers
- finding new sales opportunities and existing business pampering
- claim management
- supplier audit, selection and management
- creating, implementing and optimizing work flows based on the market and business requirements
- continuous improvement on all fields under command
- active involvement on the selection and training/coaching of dispatchers, indirect people management by creating supportive and coaching environment
Budgeting, P/L responsibility
- cooperation with other departments of the company (sales logistics operations etc), tender management, complex offer development
- cooperation on international level with other HOPI companies
- creation of periodical reports, revenue, cost and profit analysis
- financial acumen, focus on EBIT
- setting up department work schedules, responsibility over holiday planning
