As a next step in that journey, we are looking for people to join us as we open our new packaging plant in Trnava, Slovakia.

Goals and challenges

Become an enabler for the hydrogen transition in Europe with focus on hydrogen mobility and trailer filling stations. Manage the field installation of our hydrogen compressor packages and act as second level support on sites. Coordinate Hoerbiger and 3rd party employees on the construction site to ensure a structured execution of the installation and commissioning as well as a smooth handover to the customer. As a field specialist, you are the initial point of contact for customers regarding troubleshooting and unplanned service calls. Identify potential improvements of the product and provide essential feedback to optimize the design of our products.

What you will accomplish together with us

Installation
On site supervision, coordination and hands on execution of the installation activities within the scope of Hoerbiger such as

- Package handling on site
- Construction of the package housing
- Grouting and alignment of skid and motor shaft
- Completion of pipe work and electric work
- Internal loop checks and interface checks with customers
- Managing 3rd party contractors and documenting installation progress including final acceptance reports
- Manage deviations and issues, communication with responsible internal and customer departments

Commissioning
On site supervision, coordination, and hands on execution of the commissioning activities within the scope of Hoerbiger such as:

- Carrying out leakage tests
- Preparing the compressor package for start-up (filling fluids and liquids)
- Performing the site acceptance test activities
- Handover of customer documentation
- Tool handling

​After Sales
- Performing failure investigations and mitigation activities/work on sites or initiating follow up mitigation tasks
- Execution of maintenance as well as package upgrade activities on site
- Documentation of on-site tasks
