Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Development of systems within budget limits
  • Preparation of the technical specifications for components and systems, technical evaluation of bids and joint selection of suppliers
  • Responsible for the timely ordering of his systems
  • Supervision of suppliers throughout the project implementation phase (including documentation):
  • carrying out Kick-off meeting with supplier
  • carrying of Progress meetings with supplier
  • if necessary, carrying out Pre-inspection Meeting
  • checking the documentation of suppliers (design documents, engineering documents, interface specifications, information on construction, EMSR)
  • giving feedback to the project team in a timely manner
  • if necessary, participate on Project QGR meetings
  • if necessary, participate on Project HAZOP meeting
  • participating at the Factory tests after alignment with supplier quality and project management
  • quality control on construction site and arranging assembly inspections
  • preparing/defending of claims with TPM and PPM
  • preparing TQs or Deviations from contract if needed (with TPM)
  • monitoring removal of non-conformities by suppliers
  • Cross-system interface coordination with the technical project management and third parties, in particular clarifying the interfaces with other Lots
  • Responsible for reviewing / commenting content of PID from perspective of system (together with process engineer)
  • Active collaboration with the plant design (installation of components, pipe routing) and electrical and control supervisor
  • Responsible for the completeness of the CAE lists in his field (piping, valves, signal exchange, instrumentation, components); Electrical load, signaling and instrumentation list
  • Implementation of technical HZI standards
  • Support of the Assembly on issues in his own field (own lots, concepts)
  • Close cooperation and exchange of experience (feedback from project) with product owners (PV)
  • Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them
