Internship - Market Intelligence

We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. The Market Intelligence Intern will be responsible for strategic marketing deliverables in the EMEA region. This role will report to the Global Market Intelligence & Strategy Director.

What will you do?
• Develop a broad understanding of the Thermo Fisher Scientific brand, the life sciences industry, the analytical instruments landscape including, but not limited to, products, markets, competitors, etc.
• Support market research projects including identifying emerging trends relevant to the industries we serve, competitive intelligence, and macroeconomic trends
• Assists with producing, analyzing and interpreting data in a timely manner
• Update and manage market intelligence data sets for the build out of Power BI dashboards for the most recent time-period.
• Learn and develop Power BI dashboards
• Create PowerPoint and other documents including reports and present or assist in presenting findings to internal stakeholders
What are we looking for?
• Student of Management, Economics, Finance, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering or related field,
• Interest in conducting market research, competitive intelligence and data analysis
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills required, especially Excel
• Excellent English communication skills verbal and written (B2 and higher)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Willingness to learn, be mentored and improve

• Gross hour salary from 5.80 EUR/hour, 20hrs/week (max.80 hrs/month)
